Imagine talking with your hands or dancing with a person in a wheelchair!  Given the opportunity, you will find that all people have their own individual gifts to share. It takes a little thought to figure out how you can choose as your fencing partner a person who uses a walker or a wheelchair.

But that is exactly what this camp is all about—discovering new ways to communicate and be friends. Partners In Adventure partners non-disabled teens ages 12 to 15 with their disabled peers for a unique experience. Although there are a wide variety of differently abled campers, they soon discover that they are all there for the same reasons. All are looking forward to a summer of fun and opportunities to make new friends. By partnering teens with and without disabilities while offering a wide variety of enriching programs in the creative arts and recreation, we hope to establish an appreciation of the differences that exist among us.
