Partners In Adventure Summer Camp and your child’s/student’s IEP
The following pages are a reference to show how Partners in Adventure can support your child’s/ student’s summer services. In addition to planned activities, during the day there are many opportunities for social interaction, reading, small conversation groups, and down time where some campers work on specific academic areas with their assistant. There is a morning meeting each day where campers have the chance to speak, question and share with peers. We also ask campers to share in responsibilities such as morning message board, cleaning, organizing field trips and helping fellow campers to participate in activities or daily routine. PIA offers an inclusive and respectful atmosphere with a broad range of diversity and activities.
Use these pages as a guide. We cannot adapt our programs for each specific IEP goal, however we feel that our program addresses Vermont Standards as well as many goals of Transition Plans.
